Daikin

Daikin is a large multinational company that was founded in Japan in 1924. The company manufactures heating, cooling and ventilation systems for private homes, properties as well as offices and restaurants and also cooling for the food industry. Daikin is one of the leading companies in heat pump technology and places great focus on research and development within the segment. Many of their inventions are completely unique on the market. One example is the swing compressor, their patented compressor technology with fewer moving parts than the traditional so-called rotary compressor. The technology provides better effect, reduced wear and thus also increases the lifespan of the compressor - the heart of the heat pump.

Daikin's philosophy is permeated by innovation and development, but at least as much by environmental responsibility. Given that their heating systems are sold in large numbers worldwide, they see themselves as highly responsible for reducing the climate impact. They do this partly by adapting the production of the heat pumps and partly by focusing development on energy-efficient technologies that make the operation of the heat pump more environmentally friendly. All of Daikin's heat pumps are adapted to our Nordic climate for best effect and maintain high performance down to -20 degrees. Daikin offers air/air heat pumps, air/water heat pumps and ground source heat pumps adapted to our however very harsh winter climate.
