There are a couple of interest associations within the heat pump industry that have different orientations. They work to develop the industry and work to deepen the knowledge of the member companies. The associations make it possible for the smaller companies, which are the vast majority of companies in heat pump installations and heat pump repairs, to have their voice heard.

SKVP - The Swedish Refrigeration & Heat Pump Association brings together manufacturers, importers, installers and service companies that work with freezers, cooling and heating. They have seminars and webinars to increase knowledge and affinity within the industry. Their mission is to initiate and enforce activities that create profitability in the member companies and contribute to developing the companies' market within cooling, heating, energy and the environment.

Among other things, SKVP is behind "All about f-gas" which describes and explains what f-gas is and the f-gas regulation.

SKVP is also behind "Kyla & Värme", a magazine for the Cooling & >Heat pump industry.

The Kyltekniska Föreningen (KTF) was founded as early as 1942 but dates back to 1911 and works to develop members and the entire refrigeration and heat pump industry.

KTF has three departments, Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm, which have several meetings every year. They have educations, courses and seminars and are behind the trade journal KYLA+ Värmepumpar.

KTF is one of the main organizers of the Swedish Cooling and Heating Pump Day.
