Swedish CTC was founded by three men with the surnames Celsius, Tellander and Clarin in 1923. The company got its name from the first letter of the respective surname. CTC quickly made a well-known name, both in Sweden and in Europe - they are best known for the development of their "green boilers". They were the first in Europe with heating boilers that had a built-in water heater and later they were also the first to introduce the air/water heat pump in Sweden in 1985.
Today, CTC is one of the leading manufacturers of heating products in Europe. CTC's offer consists of, among other things, boilers, heat pumps and water heaters. In the range for heat pumps, we find a range of high-quality liquid/water and air/water heat pumps that are adapted to our Nordic climate.
CTC is part of Enertech AB, which in turn is owned by NIBE Industrier since 2017, but still sells self-developed heat pumps with manufacturing in Ljungby, Småland. CTC has in many ways contributed to the development of heat pumps on the European market, not least in the air/water segment. The heat pumps are of good Swedish quality, durable and with a high performance down to -22 degrees.
