NIBE

NIBE is a Swedish company that was founded back in 1949 by Nils Bernerup in Sösdala, Småland. At that time the company went by the name Backer-Elektro värme. After a few active years, Bernerup also founded the NIBE works in Markaryd. Only after a group of employees decided to buy up the NIBE works was the company name changed to NIBE Industrier.

Today, NIBE is a global concern (NIBE-Group) with the vision of creating world-class sustainable energy solutions. By combining renewable energy with new, smart technology, they create effective solutions for a more sustainable future. NIBE offers air/water, geothermal and exhaust air heat pumps for private homes, properties and industries. Originating in Sweden, NIBE's heat pumps have been developed adapted to a harsh, however, Nordic climate. The heat pumps are highly efficient, durable and developed for a minimal impact on our environment.

In NIBE-Group yesterday also other well-known heat pump suppliers such as CTC, Cetetherm, Metro Therm and Alpha Innotec who all offer in-house developed heat pumps.
